Responsibility
- Monitor network performance and availability 24/7, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues promptly to maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network upgrades, patches, and configurations.
- Document network incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities for future reference.
- Conduct regular network audits to assess security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network emergencies outside of regular hours.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network operations and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NOC or similar network operations role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical issues clearly.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
