Responsibility
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Mandarin language lesson plans tailored to various proficiency levels.
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and oral evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Incorporate cultural elements, traditions, and history into the curriculum to provide a holistic learning experience.
- Collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching methodologies and curriculum standards.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student development and academic milestones.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities to promote the Mandarin program.
- Utilize digital teaching tools and educational software to enhance the learning process.
Qualifications
- Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese (Mandarin as a first language).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Chinese Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural school setting.
- Teaching certification (e.g., TCSOL, CTCSOL, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students of different age groups.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive, patient demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to relocate to or work in the Tangerang, Banten area.
