Responsibility
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Mandarin language lesson plans tailored to various student proficiency levels.
- Create an immersive classroom environment that encourages students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Mandarin.
- Utilize innovative teaching aids, multimedia tools, and interactive activities to enhance student engagement.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
- Collaborate with the academic department to refine and update the Mandarin curriculum.
- Organize and participate in cultural events and workshops to promote Chinese traditions and language.
- Maintain professional classroom management and accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Qualifications
- Native speaker of Mandarin Chinese with standard Putonghua pronunciation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in teaching Mandarin as a foreign language (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and colleagues.
- Possession of a teaching certification (e.g., CTCSOL, HSK Teacher Certificate) is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to suit different age groups, from children to adults.
- Commitment to a contract-based position in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
