Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Conduct regular inspections of property facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and upgrade of building infrastructure, fixtures, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to tenants and operations.
- Collaborate with property managers and external contractors to plan and execute enhancement projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies in all technical operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- A vocational diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a Building Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in property management or real estate.
- Strong technical skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor environments.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
