Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline MSP service delivery.
- Optimize and maintain existing automation tools, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manual processes ripe for automation.
- Integrate disparate systems and applications using APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.
- Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices for team adoption.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies (e.g., RPA, IaC, AI-driven tools) and recommend innovations.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in all automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), or DevOps roles.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM frameworks, and MSP service delivery models.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and logging systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
