As part of our dynamic sales team, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our merchant network across Bali’s bustling commercial hubs—from Canggu’s trendy cafes to Denpasar’s traditional markets. Responsibility
- Identify and target potential merchants in assigned territories (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) to expand BukuWarung’s EDC network.
- Conduct in-person visits to businesses to demonstrate the value of EDC payment systems and digital financial tools.
- Achieve monthly acquisition targets by converting leads into active merchant partners.
- Provide exceptional onboarding support, ensuring merchants are fully trained and confident in using BukuWarung’s solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing merchants, addressing concerns and offering upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local campaigns and promotions to drive merchant adoption.
- Document all sales activities, merchant feedback, and market insights in CRM systems for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and BukuWarung’s product updates to deliver compelling pitches.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment solutions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse business owners.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Familiarity with EDC machines, digital payments, or financial technology is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bali to engage with merchants in various locations.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools or sales tracking software to manage leads and pipelines.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional local dialects are advantageous.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
