Responsibility
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability across retail channels.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to forecast demand and optimize stock allocation.
- Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and store operations teams to align product assortments with business goals.
- Oversee pricing strategies, promotions, and markdowns to enhance competitiveness and margin performance.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on merchandising performance, KPIs, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandising coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, inventory planning, or retail operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, interpret reports, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for stakeholder collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and retail analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
