Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material planning strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components for semiconductor fabrication.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement measures to optimize stock, reducing excess while preventing shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material planning accordingly to meet production targets.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain that could impact material availability.
- Utilize ERP systems and other planning tools to track material usage, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Generate reports on material planning metrics, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent understanding of inventory control principles, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is an advantage.
