Join Silicon Box as a Material Planner and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations in Bali. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and procurement strategies to ensure seamless production workflows.
As a Material Planner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate material shortages. Your analytical skills and proactive approach will drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and support our commitment to operational excellence in the manufacturing sector.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate MRP plans to align production schedules with material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Generate and release Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to prevent stockouts and production delays.
- Analyze demand forecasts and adjust procurement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to streamline material flow and reduce costs.
- Identify and resolve material shortages or excesses through effective planning and communication.
- Maintain and update ERP systems with real-time data for accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective and reliable supply chains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time (JIT) inventory strategies is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
