Responsibility

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
  • Create compelling content, including blog posts, newsletters, and multimedia materials, to highlight OH! Open House’s projects and stories.
  • Assist in event planning and coordination, from promotions to on-site execution, to ensure seamless audience experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social insights) to refine marketing approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with organizational goals and campaign objectives.
  • Conduct research on trends in storytelling, art, and cultural preservation to inform content and outreach strategies.
  • Engage with community partners, artists, and stakeholders to build relationships and expand OH! Open House’s network.
  • Support the production of video, graphic, and written content for promotional and educational purposes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Meta Business Suite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design or video editing (Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Passion for art, culture, and community engagement with a desire to amplify marginalized voices.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization is a bonus.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 3–6 months for the internship.
