Responsibility
- Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Document and report bugs with clear, reproducible steps for developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and validate software functionality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution phases.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve software performance.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and provide feedback.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
