Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data center mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems (HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs) to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on critical infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Mandarin-speaking stakeholders) to optimize facility performance and energy efficiency.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests promptly, documenting actions and escalating issues as needed.
- Assist in capacity planning, equipment installations, and upgrades to support data center expansion.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942), and local regulations.
- Generate reports on facility performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities for management review.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support and emergency response.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data center facility operations, critical infrastructure maintenance, or MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) systems.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, UPS, generators, PDUs, fire suppression systems, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Knowledge of data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942) and best practices for energy efficiency.
- Certifications such as CFOT, CDCP, or OSHA are highly desirable.
- Willingness to work in Bali (Badung region) with hybrid/on-site flexibility.
