Responsibility
- Provide accurate and fluent oral translation between Mandarin and Indonesian during meetings, training, and daily operations.
- Assist in translating technical documents, manuals, and operational guidelines related to transformer manufacturing.
- Facilitate clear communication between Chinese engineers/managers and local staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support HR and administrative teams in onboarding, training, and resolving language-related queries.
- Act as a cultural bridge to promote mutual understanding and collaboration between teams.
- Assist in preparing bilingual reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all translations and interactions.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Mandarin (Chinese) and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proven experience as an interpreter/translator, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of technical terminology related to engineering, manufacturing, or power equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic work environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in a multinational company or cross-cultural setting is advantageous.
