Responsibility
- Lead content sourcing and licensing initiatives across Southeast Asia, with a focus on Chinese content.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Viuās content library, ensuring alignment with regional audience preferences.
- Negotiate and finalize content acquisition deals with studios, distributors, and independent creators.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and audience insights to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize content performance and engagement.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including content partners, legal teams, and internal departments.
- Monitor and report on content performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging formats, and technological advancements in digital content distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Media, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content acquisition, licensing, or digital media, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing content deals with regional or international partners.
- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian entertainment landscape, with expertise in Chinese content as a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive strategic insights.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Southeast Asian languages is advantageous.
- Passion for digital entertainment and a deep appreciation for diverse content genres.
