Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with the New Zealand team to consolidate financial data and ensure accuracy across entities.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct cost analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Assist in tax planning and compliance, liaising with external auditors and advisors as needed.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial close processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth initiatives.
- Support the implementation of new accounting systems or software to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and cross-border financial reporting is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to New Zealand in the future (visa sponsorship may be provided).
