Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Repair or replace defective components, including motors, belts, gears, and control panels.
- Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records for all equipment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Order and manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintaining material handling or industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) and hand/power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy components and work in various environments (e.g., warehouses, outdoor sites).
- Familiarity with OSHA or local safety regulations is a plus.
