Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and other hotel infrastructure promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to their stay.
- Conduct regular safety checks on fire alarms, emergency exits, and other critical safety systems to comply with local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to address any maintenance-related concerns reported by guests or staff.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or fixtures as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and accounted for.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, or working in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to building maintenance.
- Certification or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, or plumbing) is a plus.
