Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems in luxury properties.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and emergency maintenance issues to ensure minimal disruption.
- Inspect and repair furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain pristine conditions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and management teams to address maintenance needs proactively.
- Conduct regular safety checks and comply with local building codes and hospitality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
- Assist in renovations and upgrades to enhance property aesthetics and functionality.
- Provide excellent service with a guest-first mindset, ensuring a seamless stay experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in building maintenance, preferably in hospitality or luxury properties.
- Strong technical skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA standards (or equivalent).
- Basic English proficiency; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a 24/7 hospitality environment.
