Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with production teams to address maintenance needs and prioritize tasks based on operational urgency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or facility upgrades as required.
- Conduct regular safety checks on tools, equipment, and workspaces to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Support emergency maintenance requests and provide after-hours assistance when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the food production or manufacturing industry.
- Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, or industrial machinery).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in maintenance work.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA or local regulatory standards.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, or standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
