Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale recommendation systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Optimize algorithms to improve user engagement, conversion rates, and merchant performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, product, engineering) to integrate recommendation models into production.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance metrics to refine and enhance recommendation strategies.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in personalization, ranking, and collaborative filtering.
- Build scalable infrastructure to handle real-time data processing and model serving.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of recommendation services.
- Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to ByteDance's AI research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, or data science roles.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
- Strong understanding of ranking algorithms, collaborative filtering, and deep learning.
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or distributed computing).
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Bonus: Experience in e-commerce, ads, or content recommendation systems.
