Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Optimize inventory management systems to minimize discrepancies, reduce waste, and improve stock accuracy.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline logistics workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in all warehouse activities.
- Leverage technology and automation tools to enhance logistics processes and data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, 5S, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
