Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end large parcel and cargo operations, including sorting, loading, and dispatch coordination.
- Optimize route planning and fleet utilization to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and report on KPIs (e.g., delivery accuracy, transit times, and cargo safety) to senior management.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline inventory management and space allocation for oversized shipments.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and customs authorities to resolve logistics challenges and ensure compliance.
- Implement process improvements using data analytics to reduce bottlenecks in cargo handling.
- Train and supervise on-ground staff on best practices for heavy/bulky item handling and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with cross-border teams for international cargo shipments, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations, with a focus on large parcel/cargo handling.
- Proven track record in team leadership and operational process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Familiarity with Indonesian customs regulations and international shipping standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
