Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end import and export logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely clearance of shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport providers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists, and permits.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehouse, and sales, to align logistics operations with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or transport industry.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, customs officials, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
