Responsibility

  • Ensure strict adherence to the Local Government Code and prevailing accounting guidelines regarding treasury operations.
  • Maintain effective coordination with provincial and regional offices to streamline fiscal processes.
  • Manage local tax assessments and collection activities to support community infrastructure and service projects.
  • Safeguard government assets and ensure compliance with security protocols in cash handling and record management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and monitor fund allocation for designated programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Civil Service Professional Eligibility (Second Level) or equivalent RA 1080 eligibility.
  • Proven understanding of government accounting, treasury management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and local government financial software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and professional ethics in public service.
