Responsibility
- Operate and manage live streaming equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, encoders, and switching software (e.g., OBS, vMix, Wirecast).
- Set up, test, and monitor live streaming setups to ensure high-quality video and audio output.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and clients to plan and execute live broadcasts.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to minimize downtime during live streams.
- Edit and enhance live content with graphics, overlays, and lower-thirds for a polished viewer experience.
- Manage multi-camera setups and switch between feeds seamlessly during live productions.
- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines (e.g., YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram Live) and client branding standards.
- Archive and organize live stream recordings for post-production and analytics purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Live Stream Operator, Broadcast Technician, or similar role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in live streaming software (OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, XSplit) and hardware (capture cards, mixers, etc.).
- Strong understanding of video and audio production principles, including lighting, framing, and sound quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve technical issues quickly during live broadcasts.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their live streaming capabilities (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch).
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with on-air talent and production teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as live events may require.
