Responsibility
- Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and risk factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling to patients and families in distress.
- Advocate for patients’ rights and access to social services, housing, and financial assistance.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on mental health, coping strategies, and community resources.
- Coordinate with local NGOs, government agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document all interventions, progress notes, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review patient cases and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration as a Social Worker (local or international equivalents accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical, hospital, or community social work settings.
- Proven ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health disorders, and cultural competency.
- Familiarity with local social services, legal frameworks, and healthcare systems in Indonesia.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and patient advocacy.
