Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide appropriate patient counseling on proper usage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Verify prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, and potential drug interactions using professional judgment and pharmacy software
- Maintain comprehensive patient medication records and ensure confidentiality of all health information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and rotating pharmaceutical products while minimizing waste
- Provide immunizations and other clinical services as permitted by Indonesian pharmacy regulations
- Educate patients on over-the-counter medications, supplements, and health products to support self-care
- Participate in community health initiatives and pharmacy outreach programs to promote wellness
- Ensure compliance with all local and national pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) from an accredited Indonesian university
- Current and valid Apoteker license (SIPA) from the Indonesian Ministry of Health
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting (new graduates with strong internship experience considered)
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (Mandarin, Russian, Japanese) are a plus
- Strong clinical knowledge of prescription medications, OTC products, and herbal supplements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling and team collaboration
- Proficient in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with pharmaceutical advancements
