Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, visual acuity tests, and ocular health assessments using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Interpret and verify prescriptions with precision, ensuring accuracy in lens specifications and patient needs.
- Provide expert contact lens fitting and aftercare, including specialized lenses for complex prescriptions.
- Perform frame styling consultations and dispensing, guiding patients in selecting eyewear that matches their lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.
- Operate in-house edging and lens customization tools to deliver same-day or expedited services where applicable.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and product benefits to foster long-term trust and loyalty.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and inventory management in compliance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with the retail team to drive sales targets while prioritizing ethical and patient-focused care.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Optometry from an accredited institution; licensed to practice in Indonesia (or eligible for local registration).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in optometry, with expertise in refraction, dispensing, and patient consultation.
- Proficient in using automated refraction systems, tonometry, and retinal imaging tools.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages, e.g., Indonesian or Mandarin, are a plus).
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proven ability to build rapport and tailor solutions to individual needs.
- Knowledge of current eyewear trends, lens materials, and coatings to provide expert recommendations.
- Familiarity with inventory and practice management software is advantageous.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on industry advancements.
