Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, including medical history, dietary habits, and anthropometric measurements.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans for patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and malnutrition.
- Provide one-on-one counseling and group education sessions on healthy eating, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition therapy into overall treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting dietary recommendations as needed to achieve health goals.
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, meal preparation, and food safety practices.
- Stay updated on the latest evidence-based nutrition research and apply findings to clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Nutritionist/Dietitian (e.g., RD, RDN, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in using nutrition assessment tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
