Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, you’ll work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial solar setups, in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine electrical requirements and feasibility for solar installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate system design and implementation.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in solar energy systems.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar technology, electrical codes, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian Electrician License (Sertifikat Ketenagakerjaan or equivalent) with experience in electrical installations.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical work, preferably in solar PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes (e.g., PUIL, NEC).
- Ability to use electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, clamp meters) and hand/power tools safely.
- Physical fitness to work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality installations.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with international clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other project sites as needed.
