Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Inspect electrical components (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers) to identify hazards or malfunctions.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices (e.g., ohmmeter, voltmeter).
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems into building projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Licensed Building Electrician (minimum 3 years in residential/commercial settings).
- Valid Indonesian Electrical License (Sertifikat Ketenagakerjaan or equivalent) required.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprint reading, and local building codes (PUIL, SNI).
- Ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., wire strippers, conduit benders, multimeters).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for diagnosing electrical issues.
- Physical stamina to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.
