Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable network and systems infrastructure to support high-performance office environments.
- Lead the architecture, configuration, and optimization of servers, firewalls, switches, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Ensure 24/7 uptime, security, and reliability of all IT systems, including disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems and network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), routing/switching, and firewall management (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows server administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability assessment, and threat mitigation.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or AWS/Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
