Responsibility
- Architect and Implement Security Solutions: Design and deploy scalable, secure system architectures for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead Security Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to global standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and conduct regular audits to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a cross-functional team of security engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Threat Intelligence & Monitoring: Oversee real-time security monitoring, threat detection, and proactive mitigation strategies to protect against cyber threats.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, IT teams, and external vendors to integrate security into all business processes and third-party solutions.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and emerging threats.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Security Architect, CISO, or equivalent).
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, SAST/DAST), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR.
- Certifications: Hold one or more industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or OSCP).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex security challenges and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience managing large-scale security projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline adherence.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2) and experience conducting risk assessments.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment with a focus on collaboration and results.
