You will be working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule in the dynamic industrial hub of Jurong Island. Responsibility
- Perform precise chemical testing, sampling, and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation, ensuring all equipment meets operational standards.
- Oversee strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) protocols.
- Lead shift-based laboratory activities and mentor junior analysts to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Document analytical results accurately in the LIMS system and prepare detailed quality reports.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure the laboratory environment maintains optimal safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing QC laboratory.
- Proven ability to operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, or Titrators.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001/17025 standards.
- Commitment to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented MNC setting.
- Strong analytical mindset with a sharp eye for identifying quality inconsistencies.
