Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for food safety and laboratory excellence? DLA Naturals, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Food Safety Management System (FSMS) QC Officer to join our growing team in Subic, Zambales. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety by assisting our FSMS Laboratory Head in advanced physicochemical and microbiological testing.

As an essential member of our Quality Control department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes comply with international food safety standards. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the integrity of our brand through rigorous scientific analysis and strict adherence to quality management systems.

Responsibility

  • Assist the FSMS Laboratory Head in conducting routine physicochemical analysis on raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform comprehensive microbiological testing and environmental monitoring to ensure a sterile production environment.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with SOPs.
  • Document all test results, observations, and non-conformities accurately within the FSMS documentation system.
  • Participate in internal audits and support the preparation of documentation for external quality certifications.
  • Monitor production line activities to ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols.
  • Assist in the investigation of quality deviations and contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing quality control or a laboratory setting (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Strong understanding of FSMS, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques, including titration, pH testing, and microbial plating.
  • High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
