Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive chemical analysis on starting materials and packaging components to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine testing on in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples according to established protocols.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of all test results in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and mobile phases required for daily analytical activities.
  • Operate and perform basic calibration of laboratory equipment, including pH meters, analytical balances, and HPLC systems.
  • Assist in laboratory investigations regarding Out-of-Specification (OOS) results or deviations.
  • Ensure the laboratory environment is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure a risk-free workspace.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Applied Science, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing laboratory environment.
  • Solid understanding of analytical chemistry techniques such as titration, spectroscopy, and chromatography.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, and GLP regulations is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to work on shifts or weekends if required by production schedules.
