Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end development of digital health platforms, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Architect and implement APIs, microservices, and system integrations to enable seamless interoperability with healthcare systems (e.g., EHR, pharmacy management software).
- Oversee system reliability engineering (SRE) practices to minimize downtime and optimize platform uptime (99.9%+ SLA).
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Drive Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and industry best practices for privacy and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager).
- Expertise in full-stack development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, Java, or Go) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven track record of designing and deploying scalable, high-availability systems in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices architecture, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
