As a Laundry Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of laundry facilities by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial laundry equipment. Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of laundry equipment.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to maintain efficiency and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the laundry team to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new laundry equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Nitec certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field (or equivalent qualification).
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a 6-day rotating shift environment.
- Good communication skills in English (additional knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and improving technical skills.
