Responsibility
- Perform calibration and testing of automotive electronic components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Verify and validate equipment performance, including sensors, controllers, and other critical automotive electronics, to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to calibration processes, equipment malfunctions, and production discrepancies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Document calibration procedures, test results, and equipment maintenance records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and refinement of calibration protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Provide technical support to production teams, including training and guidance on calibration best practices and equipment usage.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in automotive electronics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in calibration, testing, or quality assurance within the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software for automotive electronics.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronic systems, including sensors, ECUs, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a production or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
