Responsibility
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests, analyses, and experiments to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are in optimal working condition.
- Document and record test results, observations, and data accurately in laboratory logs and digital systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents, and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research, product development, and quality control initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory equipment or experimental procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in chemical manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols (e.g., GC, HPLC, pH meters, spectrophotometers).
- Proficient in data analysis, documentation, and reporting using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or similar software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedural guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or other industry-specific standards is a plus.
