Responsibility
- Conduct routine laboratory testing and analysis according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for experimental or production use.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all test results, observations, and data accurately in laboratory logs and digital systems.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and request supplies as needed to prevent operational downtime.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times.
- Assist senior scientists or supervisors in complex research or quality control projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working in a laboratory or quality control environment is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic laboratory software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English/Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required by operational demands.
