Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and marinating.
- Support cooking processes such as frying, steaming, grilling, and baking under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 10 kg).
