In this role, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to prepare ingredients, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist in daily operations. Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in the preparation and cooking of daily dishes.
  • Ensure all ingredients are prepared, washed, peeled, and chopped according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Properly store food supplies and rotate inventory to minimize wastage (FIFO).
  • Support the kitchen staff during busy shifts to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, tools, and utensils after use.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety and hygiene policies.

Qualifications

  • Open to Malaysian citizens only.
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food & beverage environment is an advantage, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure well.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
