Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operations of the Kindergarten Care programme, ensuring a smooth and structured environment.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, learning, and rest periods.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere where children feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement educational and recreational programmes.
- Monitor childrenās well-being, addressing any concerns with parents or guardians as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the care facility, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Encourage social interaction, creativity, and emotional development through guided activities.
- Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring childrenās dietary needs are met.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
- Basic knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- First Aid or CPR certification is a plus but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
