Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and cost-efficiency requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate design performance and durability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and specifications for internal and client reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges during product development and manufacturing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation in product design.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years for Junior, 5+ years for Senior) in mechanical design, prototyping, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Indonesian or Japanese is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing previous engineering or design projects is highly encouraged.
