- Generate and verify Gerber files, BOMs, and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet functional, thermal, and EMI/EMC requirements.
- Perform design rule checks (DRC) and resolve layout conflicts.
- Support prototyping and testing phases by preparing documentation and troubleshooting design issues.
- Maintain organized records of design revisions and version control.
- Stay updated on PCB design best practices and emerging technologies in hardware development.
- Assist in component selection and footprint creation for new parts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of PCB design principles, schematic capture, and layout tools (experience with Altium or similar is a plus).
- Familiarity with Gerber file generation, BOM creation, and manufacturing constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and datasheets.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Eagle) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior internship or project experience in PCB design is a bonus.
