Responsibility
- Conduct thorough supplier evaluations to identify reliable vendors for construction materials, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Perform cost comparisons and market analysis to secure the best pricing for materials without compromising standards.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, tracking deliveries to ensure materials arrive on schedule for project milestones.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with construction timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate material needs to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to optimize procurement budgets and build long-term partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and sustainable sourcing options to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in construction procurement, material sourcing, or supplier management (fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement software, or ERP systems for data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
