Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and verify financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in tax compliance, including VAT/GST filings and withholding tax calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and accuracy.
- Participate in audits by providing documentation and supporting senior staff.
- Stay updated on Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (internships or academic projects count!).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Zahir, or QuickBooks) or willingness to learn.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (e.g., PPN, PPh) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Excellent communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia fluency is a bonus).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
