Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Act as a liaison between Japanese-speaking clients/stakeholders and the development team to clarify requirements and provide updates.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems to improve performance and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure project alignment.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in software development with proficiency in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js/React), or Go.
- Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or higher) and professional English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Passion for technology, continuous learning, and contributing to open-source projects is a bonus.
