Responsibility
- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation services between Japanese and Indonesian languages in various settings, including meetings, conferences, and medical consultations.
- Translate written documents, emails, and other materials from Japanese to Indonesian and vice versa, ensuring clarity and cultural appropriateness.
- Assist in facilitating communication between Japanese-speaking clients and Indonesian staff to ensure smooth business operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interpretation and translation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of language services.
- Stay updated with industry-specific terminology and cultural nuances to provide high-quality language support.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to language services, such as scheduling interpretation sessions and managing translation projects.
- Provide cultural insights and advice to enhance cross-cultural understanding and communication.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Japanese and Indonesian languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a medical or business setting.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to navigate cross-cultural communication effectively.
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills to accurately interpret and translate spoken and written content.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is a plus.
